Silk White 1/4, also known as 1/4 Stop Silk, is an ultra-sheer, white polyester diffusion fabric designed for professional film, television, and photography applications.
With its very open weave, it provides a light, subtle diffusion that maintains hard-edged shadows while delivering a significant ambient bounce—making it ideal when a gentle softening of light is desired without eliminating contrast.
This fabric is perfect for controlled lighting scenarios where a slight diffusion effect is required to enhance visual clarity and maintain a natural feel.
For maintenance, hand washing is recommended; if machine washing is necessary, thoroughly inspect for any rips or tears and remove all loose strings. Use medium to hot water on a gentle cycle with standard detergent, then block on a properly sized frame and air dry away from direct sunlight. Do not dry clean.

Notes:
- Final product dimensions may vary by 2–5 cm.
- The fabric exhibits shrinkage properties.

- Larger fabrics may have a seam that does not impact their light performance.
- Smaller fabrics include elastic bands on Velcro closures for secure attachment.
